Save the time/date: This Juneteenth, Friday, June 19th 2:00 PM MT, a group of friends will gather for the release of the documentary film, (In)Visible Portraits, described as a "love letter to Black women," Ruha Benjamin and Dr. Joy DeGruy, two women who are guiding lights in our lives, are featured in the trailer. We'd love to have you join us!
We'll gather on Zoom at 2:00 PM MT to say hello and sync up watching our individual movies. We'll gather back to discuss the film after having watched it on our own. If you'd like to be added to a WhatsApp chat thread to text each other during the film, reply with the best number for you. Also, if it works best for you to watch earlier in the day and meet up later for the discussion, that works too!
